Battle River Gas Co-op
AMS is excited to help launch Battle River Co-op's Website!
BATTLE RIVER GAS CO-OP LTD was incorporated in 1968. Our first directors went door to door to offer neighbors an easier and cost-effective way to heat their homes. Over the years we have grown to more than 1100 members, with almost 1000KM of underground pipe.
We service the hamlets of Duhamel, Ferintosh, Meeting Creek, and New Norway; the village of Edberg; the subdivisions of Little Beaver Estates; Meldal Beach, Sherman Park, and Sunset Heights; and the surrounding rural areas.
We are proud to be a member of the Federation of Alberta Gas Co-ops, which cooperatively, has worked diligently to become the worlds largest rural natural gas distribution system.
We safely build, operate, and maintain our own pipeline system and are on-call 24 hours a day to respond to gas odor calls and natural gas emergencies.
